Donate books & items for sale

The library accepts donations of:

  • used books
  • textbooks
  • dictionaries
  • DVDs
  • music CDs
  • audiobook CDs

You can drop them off inside the library during business hours.

The library does not accept:

  • VHS tapes
  • encyclopedias
  • condensed books (such as, Reader’s Digest books)
  • magazines

All materials must be in salable condition and be free of mold, mildew, or water damage. The sale and proceeds of these donated books raise funds for library operations.

Donate books & items for the collection

The library accepts donations of new and very good condition used books to add to the collection. However, library policy limits collection development choices to staff who work to create a balanced and current collection. The library cannot guarantee that any material donated to the library will be added to the collection.
