Family Movie Night

Every month we feature a free movie for the entire family on the big screen in the Library’s Morgan Center!  Kids, bring your pillows and blankets for comfy floor seating.

Game Night

Come to the Children’s Area and play the Library’s games, or bring your own to share. (Designed for ages 5 & up). Please register each person for this free program online, by phone, or when you visit the Library. Space may be limited.

Paws to Read with KPETS

Children love dogs, and these dogs love to listen to children read! Dogs from K-Pets and their humans (otherwise known as trainers) will visit the Children’s Library Tuesday evenings so children can read to them. Children who have signed up will get the first opportunity. (Children ages 4 & up who are able to read or are beginning to learn to read) Very young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times.

Chess and Strategy

Regardless of your skill level, whether an expert or a novice, if you like to play chess and/or strategy games, you are welcome to attend our Library’s monthly Chess & Strategy Games event.  Bring your own chess board/strategy game (such as Stratego) or use one of the library’s chess boards (Designed for ages 8 & up).  Please register each person for this free program online, by phone, or when you visit the Library.  Space may be limited.
