Book Events

All book events are held in the Manheim Township Public Library’s Morgan Center. Suggested donation for items is $0.50 – $2.00.

Thank you for supporting our Book Events held at the Manheim Township Public Library! This new, smaller, by-donation format has been very successful over its first full year!

We depend on generous donations of gently used books, DVDs, CDs, Books on CD, puzzles, and games to hold these Book Events multiple times per year. This year we have seen a significant decline in overall donations.

To maintain the integrity of our Book Events and provide the quality and quantity of inventory that our patrons have come to expect, we plan to hold three events in 2026:

Summer Sun & Reading Fun! Book Event

June 20 – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
June 22, 23, & 24 – 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

December Gifts & Great Reads Book Event

December 5 – 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
December 7, 8, & 9 – 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM

We hope that by waiting a few additional months, and including our holiday inventory, not only will you be able to find great reads for yourself, but you will also be able to find great gifts for the readers in your life! In the meantime, please consider donating your gently used items to the library so that we can continue to offer our popular Book Events!

Book Spot

Visit the Book Spot (inside the Tell Café) any time the library is open and add some gently loved books, CDs and DVDs to your personal collection.

Your cash or check donation for the suggested donation amount benefits the library. New inventory is added daily so be sure to stop by each time you visit the library!
