David Howard Author Visit

Meet David Howard, author of the recently published nonfiction book CHASING PHIL: The Adventures of Two Undercover Agents with the World’s Most Charming Con Man. The book tells the story of a groundbreaking 1977 FBI investigation in which a pair of FBI operatives traveled the world for eight months in the company of a high-finance scammer named Phil Kitzer. The book is being adapted for a movie starring Robert Downey Jr.; it’s been released in the UK and is being translated for editions in Germany, Japan, and Poland. 

CHASING PHIL has received strong reviews in the Washington Post, the Providence Journal, and in Publishers Weekly. among other outlets. Mr. Howard has been interviewed on NPR’s 1A show and the Leonard Lopate show, and he has presented at the National Archives and National Constitution Center, among many other locations.
