Questions You Might Have for Manheim Township Public Library

Though the library is closed to the public, we will continue to post updates on our website.

  • Patrons will not owe any fines for the time we are closed.
  • No books or physical materials will be due until the library reopens. Current due dates have been extended to June 16th.
  • If you have any Inter Library Loans they have been renewed. If they have not, fines will be waived for the time we are closed.
  • Please do not place any holds while we are closed. We are not able to fill them and you will need to replace them once we are open.
  • All events are postponed until we are able to reopen, and the events calendar will be unavailable until that time.
  • We are unable to take any donations of physical items at this time.
  • For more information please read this letter from the Manheim Township Board of Commissioners.
  • We have extended the expiration date on library cards. Please reach out to us at info@mtpl.info with questions about your library card.
  • To apply for a new card fill out the Library System of Lancaster County contact form and indicate in the ‘Your Message’ field that you would like to apply for a library card.

eResources are open even when the library is closed! Check out our full list of e-resources on the Online Databases page, including:

    • Hoopla – free digital movies, TV shows, music, e-comics, e-books, e-audio books, and Great Courses.

Virtual Reference Service:

To access most e-resources, you will need a library card.  Some e-resources require a Manheim Township Public Library card. If you need to apply for a new card, please fill out this contact form for the Library System of Lancaster County and indicate in the ‘Your Message’ field that you would like to apply for a library card.
